AOL Data Release

About Us

What Is This?

In August 2006, AOL publicly released the search activity of over 650,000 users over a three-month period. While intended for research purposes, the so-called AOL search data leak resulted in these records being shared and preserved on the Internet for all to see. Searchable interfaces to this data exist elsewhere on the Internet. This version is intended to be simple, no-frills, and free of NSFW content on the landing page. Some content is explicit, so please be cautious about searching or viewing the AOL database in settings where explicit content may be prohibited or frowned upon.
